Pirates Of The Caribbean: Highjacking Noah's Ark
This highly anticipated movie of the year is the first for alot of things. It is the first of a trilogy which is touted to be bigger than the "Lord of the Rings" franchise, it is also the first movie debut for fitness instructor and once soap star JF (Chicky) Lye as well as for tomboyish actress Germ Kang. It also is the first movie to involve a star studded cast of animals from the local zoo, the first in movie history. It is also the first movie made to contain many hidden educational meanings for the public.
However, this movie is more than just about a saving a group of animals. It is a moving tale about a pair of star cross lovers whose destiny collide and fell in love on the hijacking of the great Noah's Ark. The story takes place many years into the future, where we finally see the effects of global warming. The earth is once again engulfed in water and a great scientist built a giant ship to save all living things on earth. The ship was then hijacked by a group of pirates and it is then, one of the pirates fell in love with the female scientist.
This is the first time and is supposed to be the stepping stone for the once soap star and now fitness instructor JF Lye to get back into stardom. He plays the role of Captain Sparrow Lye perfectly and brought the character life with his amazing acting but limited facial and verbal skills. His love interest the great finder of Scientologist, Proffessor Suan(which means sour or sarcastic in the common language hokkien), is played by rookie actress Germ Kang. It is her first leading role after playing many multiple cameo roles in other blockbuster hits like the wardrobe in "Chronicles Of Narnia: The Turkey, The Christmas Tree and The Wardrobe" and many more.
This both heartwrenching and educational movie also has a short 5 minutes after credits scene where they teach the importance of the 3Rs: Refuse, Reject and Ridicule.
